Venue Details
Are all couples welcome at Two Wishes Ranch?
Is the venue shielded from public view?
Yes! Our venue is located in the heart of a 420-acre ranch. Your event will be completely private.
Will the venue be convenient for guests in regard to travel and accessibility?
Yes! Two Wishes Ranch Events is located just 30 minutes from downtown Austin, 30 minutes from San Marcos and one hour from San Antonio.
Will the space comfortably fit our estimated number of guests?
Our main space—the Barn—can seat up to 300 guests. Weather permitting, the adjoining porch can seat up to 80 additional guests. The ceremony garden seats up to 600 guests and can be tented upon request. For more detailed dimensions of our space, please visit www.AllSeated.com.
Do the indoor facilities have air conditioning and heating?
Yes! All of our indoor spaces are climate-controlled.
Can I have my ceremony indoors?
Yes! There is plenty of space to host an indoor ceremony.
Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?
Yes! We have two stages with adjoining dance floors.
Our indoor stage is 12.5’ x 19.5’ with a customizable dance floor depending on your floor plan.
Indoor Stage:
- 12.5 ft at shortest x 19.5 ft at longest
- Front to back of stage is 10 ft
- 3 dedicated outlets, everything 110, 20 AMP
Outdoor stage:
- 15’ x 24’ with an adjoining 24’ x 24’ dance floor.
- There are 5 dedicated outlets on stage with 16 plugs and 100 AMP sub panel feeding that.
Garden:
- Electrical – There are outlets on each of the light poles on the left hand side of the garden.

What bathroom accommodations are available?
Our main space—the Barn—is equipped with six bathrooms, one of which is wheelchair and family accessible.
Reservation Details
How far in advance should we reserve our preferred date?
Couples usually reserve the venue 12-18 months in advance. The Barn at Two Wishes Ranch Events is booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. In order to reserve your chosen date, we require a deposit and signed contract.
How many hours do you offer for setup and breakdown?
Our standard 14-hour rental allows you to host your event beginning at 9am and ending at 11pm, unless otherwise arranged. Clients, vendors, and coordinators may arrive anytime after 9am to begin setup. Wedding parties are welcome in the Little Wish Suite and Lucky Penny Suite anytime after 9am.
Clients are welcome to secure access to the venue at 8am for an additional $350 rental fee.
All guests must depart by 11pm and all décor must be fully removed by midnight. The venue must be completely empty with lights out and doors locked at midnight, or additional charges may apply.
Are there hidden costs like a service charge, gratuity, or cleaning fees?
No. We have no hidden fees or charges.
May we take engagement or bridal pictures at Two Wishes Ranch?
Yes! A one-hour engagement or bridal portrait session is included with your rental. Once you choose your photographer, you will schedule an appointment with us to use the venue for your one-hour photo session. Photo sessions are only available Monday through Thursday.
Everyone’s having so much fun! Can we stay longer?
Yes! Your guests may stay for an additional hour, for a fee of $950. Otherwise, all guests must depart by 11pm.
Do you have policies on date changes or cancellations?
We sure do! Please take a look:
Date Changes. In the event the Client chooses to change the date of the event, every effort will be made by Two Wishes Ranch Events to transfer reservations to accommodate the new date. All payments made towards the original reservation will be applied to the new date unless the change request occurs within 180 days of the originally scheduled event date (the “original event”). In the event a change of date occurs within 180 days of the original event, all deposits and payments will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reserve a future date. All venue rental fees for the new date will be based upon the Two Wishes Ranch Events listed pricing at the time of the rescheduling. The Client further understands that last-minute changes can impact the quality of the event and that Two Wishes Ranch Events is not liable for these compromises in quality.
COVID-19. Due to Covid-19’s ever changing experience, the Two Wishes Ranch Events team will help you assess which situation is appropriate in relation to your event date. Each situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and a customized plan will be established around the client’s needs as either (1) your event is directly affected by COVID-19 and mandated postpone due to government regulations or (2) your event is indirectly affected by COVID-19. Throughout the process, will need to legally comply with CDC regulations and state/county-based recommendations. Please note, COVID-19 reschedules will receive parameters in order to reschedule without losing their payments to date. In some circumstances, additional fees may be addressed for reschedules that fall outside the boundaries of the COVID-19 rescheduling policy.
Cancellations. In the event of Client cancellation, all payments made to the date of written cancellation are nonrefundable. To cancel your event, Two Wishes Ranch Events must have a cancellation request in writing. Cancellations will be effective immediately. However, if Client decides to proceed with a new date after the initial cancellation, Two Wishes Ranch Events will only honor a date change within fourteen (14) days of the original notification of cancellation and all rules regarding date changes apply from above.
COVID-19. Please note, if you are indirectly affected by COVID-19 but still wish to cancel your event, please note that COVID-19 is not grounds for a refund and no refunds will be admitted.
Termination. Should either Party wish to terminate this Agreement for any reason other than a breach of the terms of this Agreement, or cancellation of the Event, or date change/postponement of the Event, Two Wishes Ranch Events shall not return any unearned fees, if any, paid up to the point of termination, and Two Wishes Ranch Events will have no further obligation to the Clients. Client must pay any sums due or earned by the Two Wishes Ranch Events within thirty (30) days of termination of this Agreement. Termination of this Agreement will be effective upon receipt of written notice by the receiving Party.
What about COVID-19?
Please review our official COVID-19 policy. These are unprecedented times so feel free to follow up with any additional questions. Our goal is to work with you, not against you, to safely make your special day a reality.
What are your payment procedures like?
Your payment will be broken down into 4 separate non-refundable payments with the first being the deposit to secure your date. The following payments will be made 6 months, 4 months and 2 months from your event date. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
Once a client signs the event contract, we will send you an email with a link to your invoice which can be paid using most major credit cards through your choice of Stripe or Paypal.
- Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.
- The PayPal security key is a two-step authentication that sends you a one-time personal identification number (PIN), which is unique for each login session. Paypal’s data encryption uses Secure HTTPS connections strong TLS configurations, Key pinning as well as Data protection compliance.
Vendors & Rentals
Are we required to have a wedding planner?
Yes. To ensure that every detail of your event goes smoothly, Two Wishes Ranch Events requires all clients to hire a wedding planner from our Preferred Vendors list. By curating this list of our favorite event planners we have taken the hard part out of vendor selection. Our favorite vendors have a proven track record and effective work ethic in addition to high work quality and familiarity with our space. Proof of insurance is required for all vendors.
Do you allow outside vendors?
Yes and no. The Austin area offers so many talented vendor services we have eliminated the overwhelming nature of the selection process by curating a list of Preferred Vendors. We hope you’ll see that in vetting and approving a select number of vendors we are offering up the best of the best for the most successful event possible. Couples are asked to select the following vendors from our Preferred Vendors list: caterer, event planner, bus transportation, and bar services. All other caterers may be selected at the discretion of the couple but must be approved by Two Wishes Ranch Events. Proof of insurance is required for all vendors.
What furniture is included in the venue rental?
Your venue rental includes complimentary access to our 25 gorgeously crafted farm tables (seat up to 10 guests), five 70” round tables (seat up to 10 guests), and 400 antique teak chairs.
What staffing is included in the venue rental?
There will be at least one Two Wishes Ranch Events on-site manager present during your event, but usually there are three or more team members.
Are linens, plates, silverware, or glassware provided?
No. Two Wishes Ranch Events does not provide these items but. Our Preferred Vendors list includes a number of vendors who do.
Do you provide ceremony chairs for the ceremony garden?
We include 400 antique folding chairs for use during your ceremony and/or reception.
Who sets up the ceremony chairs and table layout?
The Two Wishes Ranch team will set up your ceremony chairs and your table layout. We will also accommodate a rain flip should your ceremony need to unexpectedly be moved inside the barn.
Food & Beverages
Do you have a liquor license?
Our partner, Third Wish, LLC., has a liquor license and will accommodate all your bar needs.
Are there food and drink minimums?
Your drink minimum will be determined by Third Wish, LLC., as you work together to customize your bar package.
Food minimums are determined by the vendors you select, not Two Wishes Ranch Events. Your wedding planner should confirm with your caterer to ensure you meet all minimum requirements regarding food.
Are kitchen facilities available to my caterer?
Yes! Our 475 sq ft professional-grade catering kitchen offers the following amenities: refrigerator, ice machine, microwave, stainless steel prep tables, dish sink, and hand washing sink.
Should your caterer need to reheat a meal, our stove and oven are also available for a $100 rental fee.
Can we have a food truck on the premises?
Yes! Food trucks are allowed on our property. All food trucks must adhere to our vendor policies and are required to provide proof of insurance.
Can I bring in a cake from an outside baker?
A/V & Technology
Do you have WiFi available?
Yes! The Barn is equipped with complimentary WiFi for you and your guests.
Do you provide A/V equipment, technicians and support?
No. While our event spaces are all thoroughly equipped with ample electrical output, your DJ or band will need to bring any and all A/V tools and equipment required.
Parking
Is shuttle service available?
Yes! Two Wishes Ranch Events has a Preferred Vendors list in which contact information for a shuttle service is included. Our team must be notified at least 10 days prior to your event date in order to provide specific guest drop-off details to your shuttle service.
Is there ample parking for our guests?
Restrictions
Is the venue child-friendly?
Yes! Due to the nature of being on a ranch, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not venture from the designated event area to visit animals, etc. If five or more children are under the age of 13, clients must provide a caregiver solely responsible for their safety.
Are pets allowed?
Yes! Two Wishes Ranch Events is a pet-friendly property but we ask the following:
- Pets must remain on a leash at all times.
- All waste must be picked up and properly discarded.
- Pets are not allowed inside the reception area or anywhere close to food (to avoid potential contamination).
- Pets that cannot be taken off site after photos must remain kenneled inside the Lucky Penny Suite.
Safety & Security
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
Yes! All of our event spaces are easily accessible via wheelchair.
What kind of security personnel and equipment does the venue provide for its guests?
Our on-site security staff is provided free of charge for up to 100 guests. Additional security will be based on your guest count and provided by Two Wishes Ranch Events for an additional fee.
